Mariah Driggers, MA, LAMFT

Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

I’m Mariah Driggers, a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Family Therapy from Mercer University’s School of Medicine. Since 2021, I’ve been committed to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and improve their mental health.

In addition to my work with adults and families, I’m also a trained play therapist who works with children ages 5 and up. Play therapy allows children & teens to express their emotions, process experiences, and develop healthy coping skills in a way that feels natural and safe. Through toys, games, and creative activities, I help young clients explore their feelings, build resilience, and better understand the world around them—all within a supportive therapeutic environment.

My overall approach is holistic and person-centered. I focus on each client’s unique background, strengths, and lived experiences to develop a therapy plan that truly fits their needs.

I have experience working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, childhood behavioral issues, relationship challenges, depression, gender identity, grief, life transitions (midlife and later-life), men’s and women’s issues, postpartum depression and anxiety, and trauma/PTSD. I draw on a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Couples/Marital Counseling, Exposure Therapy, Family Therapy, and Mindfulness practices to support meaningful change.

At the heart of my work is the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for growth and healing. My goal is to empower you with tools, insights, and support to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions to create a flexible and welcoming space for our work together.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me reading, enjoying time with my family, and soaking in the outdoors.
