Kristen Partin, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Kristen specializes in eating disorders and works with children, adolescents, and adults through individual, couples, or family therapy.
She was Lyons Center's very first team member, joining in 2021 while still finishing her graduate program. Before that, she worked in a pediatrician's office and a school clinic, providing counseling to low-income families in the Macon area, work she describes as some of the most rewarding of her career.
Kristen also works full time for the Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office, where she serves as their Victim Assistance Therapist, providing trauma-informed counseling and support to individuals affected by crime, as well as children enrolled in one of the office's youth initiatives. It's work that brings quality care to people who might not otherwise have access to it.
Kristen earned her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2022, after a bachelor's in psychology from Middle Georgia State University. Outside the office, she's a mom to a young daughter and a chocolate lab with a lot of energy.
