Erika works with couples, families, and individuals ages 14 and up. She's trained in Trauma-Focused CBT (CBT-TF) and works mainly from a person-centered approach, drawing on CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and ACT depending on what each client needs.

She sees a wide range of concerns, including addiction, abuse, military-related issues, PTSD, foster care, infidelity, self-esteem, resilience, grief, and parenting, among others.

Before Lyons Center, Erika worked at the Houston County Health Department and as a victim advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault through Crisis Line and Safe House, then provided therapy to children and families across several Middle Georgia counties.

Erika earned her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mercer University. She uses mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and psychoeducation to help clients recognize their own resilience. Born and raised in Georgia, she's married to her best friend, raising two boys, and describes herself as an agent of change.
