China Young, CMHC S/T
Pre-Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor
China specializes in military and veteran wellness, trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression, along with child and adolescent support and relationship and family wellness — bringing a strengths-based approach shaped by a genuinely varied background.
She draws on trauma-informed therapy, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused and person-centered approaches, and play-informed therapy, adjusting her approach to fit what each client actually needs.
Originally from North Carolina, she moved to Georgia for work and has stayed for the people and the outdoors. She holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master's in Sociology, both from Liberty University, along with a Bachelor's in Communication Studies and an Associate's in Criminal Justice — a mix that shapes how she understands people's stories.
China practices under clinical supervision as she works toward full licensure.
