Candace Griffith, MA, LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

A woman with light brown hair wearing a striped dress standing on a concrete path in a park-like setting during sunset, with grass, trees, and a small hill in the background.

Candace specializes in couples therapy, depression, and anxiety treatment, drawing on over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She also enjoys working with seniors — including the symptoms of menopause and perimenopause — as well as grief. And she has a special connection to the military population: her father was active duty, and her son is active duty now.

Her sessions combine evidence-based practices with mindfulness and self-care strategies, focused on practical, sustainable coping tools tailored to each client. She prioritizes a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel genuinely seen — and believes a strong sense of humor has real value in the work.

Your first session with Candace is an introductory, conversation-based moment in which we each can get to know one another, and where you can ask questions about me and my approach to therapy. It's also an opportunity for you to share what brought you to therapy, your background, and your goals. I always feel honored and privileged to hear your story.

Candace holds a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine and an MBA from Wesleyan College.
